Super Burgers

 Classic and perfect… enough said.

Ingredients
Beef Patties…
·     8 oz. sirloin steak meat with fat
·     8 oz. chuck steak meat with fat
·     Kosher salt

Secret Sauce…
·     1⁄4 Cup  mayonnaise
·     2 Tbs. ketchup
·     1 1⁄2 Tbs. sweet pickle relish
·     1 Tsp. sugar
·     1 Tsp. distilled white vinegar

Burger Preparation…
·     16 dill pickle chips
·     4 Slices ripe tomato
·     4 leaves fresh iceberg lettuce, sized to fit the bun
·     Yellow mustard
·     4 Slices deli-cut American cheese
·     4 hamburger buns

Instructions
Secret Sauce…
1.    Combine mayonnaise, ketchup, relish, sugar, and vinegar in small bowl.
2.  Stir to combine.

Beef Patties…
1.    Pick two nice pieces of beef (i.e. sirloin, chuck) looking for those that have a decent amount of fat and ask the meat department to grind them for you using the coarse grind.
2.  Press the ground beef into 4 even size burgers.
3.  Sprinkle each patty on both sides with the salt.
4.  Place on the grill and do not move for 2 minutes.
5.  Before you flip the burger, slather it with yellow mustard.
6.  Cook the burger until the internal temperature is 135 degrees. Do not smash down on the patties while cooking, as it will push out the juice and make the burger dry.
7.  Remove the burgers from the heat to a plate. Lay the American cheese onto the burger to let it start to melt.
8.  Lightly toast the buns so the cut side is crisped and browned.

Finish your Burger…
1.    On the bottom bun, place a tablespoon of sauce, 4 slices of pickle, one slice of tomato, and one piece of iceberg lettuce.

2.  Place a little more sauce on the top bun. Place the burger on the lettuce and top with the top bun.

3.  Serve immediately and enjoy!

Best Hamburger…and Amazing Secret Sauce
A recipe you will repeat throughout the Summer! True Blue Burger…
easy and Delicious!
P.S. The secret sauce is like icing on the cake!!
You have to try it!
Ingredients
·     1 lb. ground beef (80/20)
·     Sesame seed buns
·     1/2 cup Monterrey jack cheese, grated
·     1/4 cup BBQ sauce
·     Seasoned salt to taste
·     Cracked black pepper
·     Onion powder

Secret Sauce
·     3/4 cup of mayo
·     1/4 cup ketchup
·     1/4 cup relish
·     2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
·     Seasoned salt

Directions
1.       Combine the ground beef, grated cheese, BQ sauce, and seasonings. Shape patties that are about 1 inch thick. With the 1 pound of ground beef I made 5 large patties.

2.       Turn grill up to high and let it get hot.

3.       Reduce heat to medium-high and place the burgers on the grill. Allow this side of the patty to cook for about 4-6 minutes, but make sure it doesn’t burn. Then flip the burger over and cook until done.

4.       For the sauce: Combine all ingredients and whisk until well mixed. Taste and adjust ingredients to your liking.

5.       Assemble the burgers and serve with the special sauce, avocado, lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles and your other favorite hamburger toppings!
